in the very western tip end of Cumberland County, which is located in South
Central Pennsylvania. Hopewell township completely surrounds the
borough of Newburg which is a small village located at the intersection
of Pennsylvania Routes 641 and 696. Newburg is approximately 6 miles
north of Shippensburg, and three miles south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike
(Exit 15, near the Blue Mountain Tunnel).
