Two motorcycles running from about 11:00 through the afternoon.   One medium bike and one small bike.  The small bike stayed down by the creek most of the time, but the medium bike was taking jumps, but not very fast as if he was a beginner.

Some heavy equipment doing earth moving construction work from about 09:00 'till  early afternoon.

04.21  Saturday  April 21, 2001

Racing started at 11:30 today, and ended about 4:00 pm.  Not many participants.  Mostly pick-up trucks.  Along about 1:00 pm the camper and mobile home vehicles began to arrive for an overnight stay.  Never this many ever before. Heavy equipment work on the track after.

04.29  Sunday  April 29, 2001
This was their busiest day to date.  These vehicles departed during the time I was counting.  The speaker was very loud and going all the time while a race was in progress, (calling the race).

05.13  Sunday  May 13, 2001
Today is Mothers Day.  A time for families to get together and honor all the mothers.  It's also  Race Day at the Motorcycle Race Track which is just across the field nearby.  There'll be no outdoor barbecue or other back-yard activities here today.  Is the motorcycle race track noise denying us the legitimate use of our property?  Sounds (pun) that way.   There was the usual size attendance at the race today, but there were fewer races run.  There were long delays between races.  Weather was fine.

05.28  Monday  May 28, 2001
This is Memorial Day.  Racing from 11:00 to 4:00 pm.  Approximately eight Pick-up Trucks with motorcycle trailers and two mobile homes with trailers..  A few bikes were big and very noisy, but most of them were the regular size.  No kiddy bikes.

06.02   Saturday  June 2, 2001
Racing started at 8:30 and ended at 4:00 pm.  Vans and pick-up trucks and their trailers along with a few box trucks. All size bikes.  Loudspeaker used mainly between 1:00 and 2:00 pm (?).

06.29  Friday  June 29, 2001
Campers and motor homes started arriving late the day before.  Racing started at 11:00 am. Extreme noise.  Very big bikes.  Loudspeaker turned way up.  Not many pick up trucks.  Most of the people stayed the night.  Some evening activity but mostly on the other side of the hill where most of the over-night campers and motor homes were located.  Bull-dozer busy repairing the track until late in the evening. First time that week-end racing started on a Friday.

06.30  Saturday  June 30, 2001
Today was a big racing day.  Sponsored by Yamaha Motorcycles.  The races started at 11:00 and ended at 6:30 pm.  Very loud bikes.  The loudspeaker was going all the day calling the races and giving advertisements for motorcycle stuff.   Appeared to have a greater attendance,  and had approximately two or three times the number of campers and motor homes than had ever stayed over before.  Lots of lights in the late evening (11:30 pm) but the noise from the over-nighters was on the other side of the hill again.  Fire works appeared to be individuals rather than an organized display.  The bull-dozer ran all through the night getting the track ready for Sunday.  Emergency vehicles responded during the afternoon, but no other info about that...

07.01  Sunday  July 1, 2001
The third day of a three-day meet.  Lots of Yamaha advertisements on the loudspeaker.  More noise and racing than there was the day before (Saturday).  Only a partial count of vehicles departing, but it is estimated that approximately 650 or more vehicles of all types and sizes were on the hill at one time or another.  Note that the field they used for parking was more that 80% filled with campers and motor homes.  Reports of noise from the camp site until well after midnight.  A thunderstorm came through, but it didn't slow them down.  (Largest meet yet.)

07.28  Saturday July 28, 2001
Loud racing today.  Large motor homes began arriving Friday evening.  Not many pickup trucks and small vehicles.   Their loudspeaker was going all day.  Racing started at 11:30 am and ended at 7:00 pm.  Most of the large vehicles camped overnight.  There were a lot of young adults and teenagers  partying until about midnight.  There were some flood lights on.  The music stopped about 11:00 pm.

07.29  Sunday  July 29, 2001
Racing started at 11:10 am.  That's not what they promised the Pastor whose Church is nearby.  Noise was pretty much the same as yesterday.  The loudspeaker noise is loudest when they are giving credit to their sponsors, advertising upcoming races, and paging people.  During the race the motorcycle noise covers the loudspeaker noise.

08.12  Sunday  August 12, 2001
A rainy muddy day.  Light drizzle in the morning, heavy rain by late afternoon.  Racing began at its usual time of 11.30 AM, and ended at 6:45 PM.   There were not very many racers today.  Only the brave and the hardy who wouldn't melt in the rain.  There were a few very loud bikes, (in the same races as the quieter ones), running from time to time.  There was no vehicle count today, but there were fewer than two weeks ago.  There was a higher percentage of pickup trucks than expensive motor homes today.  Some of the motor homes who arrived Saturday evening, and had camped overnight, departed before the races started.  Funny thing, when it started raining heavy here in the afternoon it didn't slow them down.  The racers must have been very muddy like I used to watch in Lower New York State with my young son many years ago.

09.02  Saturday September 2, 2001
Racing today.  Not very well attended.  Mostly very large mobile homes and trailers.  They ran from 11:30 until 7:00 pm.  Not as many racers in each race.  Almost no small vans and pick-up trucks.  The loudspeaker was not used with very much enthusiasm.

09.15  Saturday September 15, 2001
Disorganized or training racing today.  Female on the loudspeaker.  Not many bikes.  All mixed sizes in the same races.  Two large camper vehicles stayed over Saturday night.  Their young children were playing outside until late.  Not much noise from children.

09.16  Sunday September 16, 2001
Big racing today.  The usual heavy noise from motorcycles and the loudspeaker.  They were out of there by 7:00 in the evening.  The two large camper vehicles that had stayed over Saturday evening moved out early Sunday morning about 7:30 am.

09.26  Wednesday September 26, 2001
Two or three very big bikes was over there racing around the track most of the morning and afternoon.  Didn't look like anybody else was there.

09.29  Saturday September 29, 2001
Same thing as three days ago;  a few bikes of mixed sizes over there.  Female on the loudspeaker.  Maybe four or five pick-up trucks in sight.

09.30  Sunday  September 30, 2001
This is a  racing day although their web site indicates that they won't race until in late October.  Fair size crowd but the attendance was not spectacular.  Noise was loud as usual.

10.02  Tuesday  October 2, 2001
Something like seven or eight pick-up trucks over there this afternoon.  Looks like a bunch of guys just running around the track for the hell of it.  No loudspeaker.

10.07  Sunday  October 7, 2001
A few pick-ups over there today.  Informal racing; practice or just for the fun of it.  All afternoon until 6:00 pm. No loudspeaker.

10.09  Tuesday  October 9, 2001
Just a few pick-ups again today.  All sizes bikes all afternoon.  No loudspeaker.

10.20  Saturday  October 20, 2001
One lone motorcycle came about 11:00 and ran for about two hours.  Nothing else.
